Monitoring Orkney's Marine Environment

The Marine Environmental Unit (MEU) was created to assess the impact of Flotta Oil Terminal operations on the marine environment of Scapa Flow, Orkney. Since then, the MEUs work has diversified due to changes in the policies and business of Orkney Harbours. Our services allow us to support Orkney Harbours in its obligations to both the Port users and to the Orkney Islands Council as Port Authority and Local Authority.
